Harshit Kaushik is a determined and adaptable all-rounder representing the United Arab Emirates T20I side. A left-handed middle-order batsman and left-arm spinner, he has steadily built his reputation across domestic and franchise cricket before stepping onto the international stage.
Kaushik earned his T20 International cap on September 1, 2025, debuting against Afghanistan at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. He was handed over his cap by none other than the UAE coach and former Indian cricketer Lalchand Rajput. Though his first outing yielded modest returns, his selection reflected the selectors’ faith in his all-round potential and consistency in the domestic circuit.
At the domestic level, Kaushik has been a regular performer for Fujairah, while also turning out for Ajman, ILT20 Marvels, and Emirates Reds. In the past, the 1996-born cricketer has been part of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ camp as well.
He has particularly impressed in the fast-paced T10 format. Apart from that, Kaushik has played across several small-time cricket leagues.
Recently named in the UAE’s squad for a T20I tri-series, which also features Afghanistan and Pakistan, Kaushik’s versatility continues to attract attention. With his powerful batting, useful bowling, and ability to adapt across formats, Kaushik is seen as a valuable asset who could play a significant role in shaping UAE cricket’s future.
