An attacking batsman right from ball one, George Munsey is a left-handed opening batsman who plays for Scotish cricket.
He made his first class debut for Northamptonshire against the visiting Australian side in 2015.
Munsey made his international debut in an ODI against Hong Kong in 2017. He looked good while he was at the crease and scored 24 before he was dismissed.
In the 2019 Tri-Series, featuring Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands, Munsey made a name for himself in the second game of the series against Netherlands, slamming an unbeaten 127. It was his first century in T20Iās, and was the second-fastest century in T20I cricket, coming from 41 deliveries.
Munsey signed with Hampshire for the 2020 Vitality Blast.
Arguably one of the best batsmen produced by Scotland, Munsey has been a revolution for his side with his attacking batting display.
