That’s it from all of us for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta and scorer Sahil Khan. Bye bye.
A convincing victory for Mississauga Masters and they remain at the top of the table. They are looking flawless at the moment. Brampton Blitz suffer their second straight loss and will be looking to bounce back in their next fixture.

Sikandar Raza(Mississauga Masters Captain) - "I thought the way Munsey batted was crucial. It was not an easy wicket to bat on. We had our own theories as we are watching every game. We had our plans in place and we stuck to it rather than seeing how it goes.

The ETPL certainly helped David Wiese ignite the spark. He has a lot of cricket left in him. I think he has the fire back in him. Every 40 year old gets a bit of a flak once they have a few bad games. There is a lot of noise but David used that criticism to ignite the spark back. It is great to see him back in form.

You want your fast bowlers to be in the zone and angry. The moment you rile up your fast bowlers, they are on a differnet level. Ali is easy to manage if you know him. If I see he is just passing through the motions, I pass a comment to rile him up and then he gets into his own.

The Canadian bowlers have stood up and bowled the tough overs. Kaleem is starting to do well and the bowlers are starting to do well. It is about the way they're bowling and the areas they're hitting. If they get off a good ball here it can happen. Richard Gleeson is also backing them up really well. It is a great bowling attack to have for us. "
Martin Guptill (Brampton Blitz Captain): "[On their batting this season] It's one of those things that everyone knows. In the shorter formats, things can go both ways . For us, that is us. We have to back ourselves. I back this team to come back harder tomorrow.

[Did they fancy themselves to chase down that total?] Absolutely. You need some luck and that luck is not going our way. We are not getting the starts we want.

[Plans ahead of tomorrow's game] When you come here, you want a win. We will be fired up for the game tomorrow."
George Munsey(Mississauga Masters, Player of the Match) - "(On the experience so far) Good group this and it has been good fun playing with these boys. It has been good being here. I have managed to get some golf under my belt so it has been a good time.

(On taking on Dilon Heyliger) It was about having my plans on the particular day. I had my plans in place against Dilon and it came off.

(On how the players are bonding) Yeah the boys are enjoying and they're relaxed. We're enjoying each others company and we're having a lot of fun on and off the field. "

Player of the Match: George Munsey
Time for the Post Match Presentation now!
1:27 PM IST, 12:57 AM Local Time: That’s it. Mississauga Masters beat Brampton Blitz by 33 runs and register their fourth straight win in Canada Super60 2026. They remain unbeaten and retain their top position in the points table. Brampton Blitz suffer their second loss this season and continue to remain in the bottom half of the table.
Chasing 129, Blitz lost Alex Hales (2) and James Vince (1) early in the innings. Asa Tribe looked good for his 22 before he departed in the sixth over. Yuvraj Samra at the top of the order really struggled for timing. JJ Smuts (1) at the other end was sent packing cheaply.
Blitz kept falling behind the required run rate. Samra’s struggles came to an end as he fell after scoring 22-ball 28 in the ninth over. Tom Curran scored 21 off 14 before being sent back in the final over. Blitz finished their innings on 95/7 as they lost the contest by 33 runs.
