India is still celebrating its historic victory at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, but away from the celebrations, social media has shifted the attention to the personal lives of Hardik Pandya and his elder brother Krunal Pandya.

The Pandya brothers, long admired by fans for their close relationship on and off the field, have recently become the subject of speculation online. 

Many fans are now wondering whether a quiet rift have developed between Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya.

Is there a rift between Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya?

It is important to note that the speculation began after fans noticed that, following India’s T20 World Cup victory, Krunal Pandya had not posted any congratulatory message for Hardik on social media. 

Hardik had an impressive campaign in the global tournament. The star player played 9 innings and scored 217 runs at an average of 27.13 and a strike rate of 160.74. With the ball, he bagged 9 wickets in 9 innings at an economy rate of 8.82.

For his impressive show, several friends and family members publicly congratulated him after India lifted the trophy.

But what grabbed the attention among the fans was Krunal Pandya's silence. Earlier, the RCB's star player celebrated Hardik Pandya's achievements online. Fans on social media also pointed out that Krunal’s wife, Pankhuri Sharma, also did not post any celebratory message for Hardik.

For many fans who are used to seeing the 'Pandya family' share moments from birthdays, festivals and career milestones on social media, the silence quickly became a topic of discussion.

Adding to the curiosity, some social media users also noted that Hardik's recent posts did not receive any likes or comments from Krunal or Pankhuri.

Krunal Pandya's absence from stadium during T20 World Cup

Another point that caught fans’ attention was the absence of Krunal Pandya and Pankhuri from stadiums during India's matches in the T20 World Cup. In previous tournaments, members of the Pandya family were often seen cheering from the stands.

This time, however, attention shifted to someone else in the stadium: model and actress Mahieka Sharma. She was spotted attending matches during the tournament and was seen interacting with Hardik's son, Agastya Pandya.

After India’s victory, Hardik Pandya also acknowledged her presence during celebrations, describing her as his ‘lucky charm’.

Meanwhile, Krunal and Pankhuri were recently seen spending time with Hardik's former partner, Natasa Stankovic. Fans also questioned whether Hardik's divorce and a fresh relationship were behind the rift.

Is Hardik Pandya's divorce behind the rift?

Some fans believe the speculation may be linked to Hardik's divorce from Natasa in July 2024. Since then, discussions on social media have suggested that Krunal and Pankhuri have remained close to Natasa and Agastya.

Hardik and Natasa Stankovic got married in 2020 and later announced their divorce in July 2024. But it seems that Hardik Pandya has found love again and moved on in his life.

However, it is vital to note that Hardik has also been part of the fresh controversy. A lawyer from Pune reportedly filed a complaint alleging that Hardik was seen lying down with the Indian national flag draped over him during post-match celebrations.
