In recent times, where celebrity couples are often celebrated as 'power couples,' actor Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli see their relationship very differently. The adorable couple, among the most recognisable names , say they do not relate to the glamorous label often attached to them.
During a conversation with film critic Anupama Chopra, Anushka Sharma spoke candidly about how she and Virat Kohli view fame, success and their personal life.

According to the actor Anushka Sharma, the foundation of their relationship is not celebrity status or professional achievement, but a shared spiritual outlook.
"We are both not so attached to what we do," Anushka explained. "We don’t see each other as two different people. We are male and female versions of each other."
For the couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, life is not defined by career milestones or public recognition. Instead, spirituality and personal growth come first.
"Our life, first and foremost, is spiritual," Anushka emphasised. "Then it is what we do—our professions. That’s just what we do."

Over the past few years, fans have noticed a visible change in Virat Kohli's personality as well. Known earlier for his intense and aggressive style on the field, the star player now appears calm and more composed.

The couple has frequently visited spiritual centres, including the ashram of Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan. There, they have attended early-morning satsangs and have participated quietly alongside other devotees.
Unlike their glamorous public appearances, these visits are simple and humble. Both Anushka and Kohli are often seen sitting on the floor among devotees, dressed in simple clothes and listening to spiritual teachings.

Anushka Sharma also addressed the 'power couple' tag. She made it clear that the term feels disconnected from the reality of their relationship.
"We don’t see ourselves like that," she said. “If we started to think that way, then something would be wrong with the nature of our relationship.”
According to Anushka, both she and Virat Kohli feel uncomfortable with the level of fame they have. Instead of embracing the spotlight, they often try to step away from it whenever possible.
“We are both not so attached to what we do,” Anushka said plainly. “We don’t see each other as two different people… we are male and female versions of each other.” For the couple, simplicity, self-sufficiency, and a shared spiritual grounding form the bedrock of their relationship.
“We are both very awkward with the fame that we have,” she admitted. “We don’t embrace stardom and fame… sometimes we run away from it and find the need to be in our own cocoon.”
Virat Kohli all set for IPL 2026
Virat Kohli is currently preparing for the upcoming season of the IPL 2026. The RCB star has already started training in the nets. Videos shared online show him practising aggressive batting shots ahead of the tournament.
The upcoming season will be special for the team as they enter the competition as defending champions after winning their first IPL title in 2025 against the Punjab Kings.
The new season is scheduled to begin on March 28, with RCB facing SRH at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
