Haris Rauf goes unsold at The Hundred 2026 Auction (Source: Screengrab from YouTube)
As The Hundred Men 2026 auction was going on, all the eyes were on Haris Rauf when he was up for grabs on Thursday. The interest was more because of Shaheen Afridi, who opted out of the auction process at the 11th hour.
However, Haris Rauf found no bidders when he appeared on the big screen, with a base price of £100k. More significantly, the topic became more interesting because he was the best option from the Pakistan contingent, and Kavya Maran, who was present along with four other IPL-owned The Hundred franchises, did not even show any interest in acquiring the Pakistan pacer.
Sunrisers Owner Kavya Maran At The Hundred Auction
Kavya Maran made headlines by sitting at the Sunrisers Leeds table. For MI London, Kieron Pollard was there among others. Unfortunately for Haris Rauf, none of them went for the 32-year-old Pakistan pacer.
Along with MI London and Sunrisers Leeds, the other teams that are owned by IPL teams are Manchester Super Giants (owned by LSG’s RPSG Group) and Southern Brave (owned by Delhi Capitals’ GMR Group).

Haris Rauf Snubbed From Pakistan Playing XI
Moreover, Haris Rauf did not even get a place in Pakistan’s playing XI against Bangladesh in the first ODI. Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi did not pick him and preferred Mohammad Wasim Jnr instead as his pace-bowling partner.
In addition, Haris was not in Pakistan’s squad in the T20 World Cup, where they could not reach the semi-finals.
Haris Rauf The Hundred Stats
Over the course of two seasons, Haris Rauf picked up 16 wickets in 12 matches, with an economy rate of 5.70 and an average of 13.31. His numbers are quite impressive, as he played for Welsh Fire during both campaigns.
However, Haris Rauf could be signed later in the accelerated auction. His name, in all likelihood, is going to be proposed again, and teams might pick him as a budget pick.
Haris Rauf Pakistan Career
Haris Rauf has played 54 ODIs, 94 T20Is, along with 1 Test match for Pakistan. His stats are not bad, with 97 wickets – interestingly, his jersey number – in the 50-over format and 133 wickets in the shortest format of the game, speaking volumes.
Haris Rauf last played an ODI match for Pakistan in November 2025, against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. His opposition was Sri Lanka, and Rauf returned excellent figures of 9-1-38-2 there.
In the T20Is, Rauf last played for Pakistan in September 2025. It was against India, that too the Asia Cup final. Rauf was extremely expensive, conceding 50 runs off his 3.4 overs for no wicket. As a result, he could not get a place in Pakistan's T20 World Cup squad.
