‘Dreams do come true ’may sound like a simple motivational phrase, but for some talents, it becomes a reality through relentless hard work. Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Saransh Jain is the perfect example of it, as he turned his dream into reality with his hunger, passion, and immense hard work.
Over the years, he showcased unreal consistency in the domestic circuit and got his maiden India call-up for the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Before he steps onto the ground in India whites, let’s relive Saransh Jain’s all-round heroics in the Duleep Trophy 2025 semifinal.
Saransh Spins Magic Before Unleashing A Sublime Knock

Saransh may have appeared in the international scene a little late, but he turned heads in the semifinal clash of the Duleep Trophy 2025 against West Zone. Defying Central Zone’s mighty bowling attack, Ruturaj Gaikwad was posing as a living death scare until Jain removed him at a crucial time. Coming back to attack in the 75th over, he removed Gaikwad for 184 runs, dashing his double-hundred dream. After dismissing Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, he ended the innings with a spell of 3/121.
Coming to bat in the first innings, the Central Zone batters got an impressive start and made their foot strong against the West Zone bowlers with amazing strokeplay. As the batters were already dominating the opponent, Saransh Jain joined Upendra Yadav on the field. After a stunning 51-run stand with Deepak Chahar, he smashed an exceptional half-century.
With a 42-run stand with Yash Thakur and a small 12-run partnership with Khaleel Ahmed, Jain remained unbeaten on 63 runs in 108 balls, smashing four boundaries and three sixes. With that, the Central Zone put on a massive score of 600 runs on the board.
Jain’s Fifer Takes His Dominance To Another Level
The cricket world was already in awe of his bowling brilliance, but the witty all-rounder stored his best for the second innings. When West Zone returned to bat in the second innings, Jain showcased his fury from the beginning. After drawing first blood by dismissing Arya Desai, he struck again to remove Saurabh Nawale for just nine runs.
After dismissing Shams Mulani in the 36th over, Jain produced another massive breakthrough by removing Shreyas Iyer in the 38th over. In the 54th over, he removed Shardul Thakur and completed a stunning fifer while conceding just 84 runs.
With Jain’s bowling brilliance leaving West Zone’s batters struggling for answers, Central Zone stormed into the final. With an unbeaten half-century and exceptional bowling performance in both innings, Saransh Jain remained the main reason for his team’s success on that day.
