Vaibhav Sooryavanshi showed maturity on Sunday during the third and final T20I of the series between India and Zimbabwe in Harare. Sooryavanshi took 31 balls for his half-century, something which fans don’t see more often from his bat.
At the age of 15, Sooryavanshi is widely regarded as an extremely aggressive batter, if not the best among the current bunch of active players. However, on a difficult Harare pitch where Abhishek Sharma failed miserably, Sooryavanshi held his nerve to keep the Men in Blue in the game.
Even Ishan Kishan, who batted extremely well before coming to this fixture, could score 29 off 26 balls in Harare before his departure on Sunday. The numbers suggested that Sooryavanshi has already understood to play according to the conditions at such a young age.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Is More Than A Fluke
Sooryavanshi, even at the age of 15, on Sunday showed he is not a one-dimensional player. He can assess the conditions and play according to the situation, even on a challenging surface such as Harare, which demands that he can not play ferociously from the get-go.
