IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I: Captains Thoughts
Shreyas Iyer (India Captain): (On the toss decision) "We are going to bat first. We're playing on the same wicket, and we expect it to get slower as the game goes on. That's the main reason behind the decision.
(On returning to the same surface after the previous match) We're happy with how the pitch played yesterday. We managed to put 220 on the board, and the way the boys started the innings was phenomenal. Looking back at that performance gives us a lot of confidence, and we'd love to replicate something similar today.
(On the batting approach) We'll need to adapt as quickly as possible. There's no guarantee the wicket will play exactly the same as it did yesterday, but the quicker we assess the conditions, the better our chances will be. After that, it's about putting a strong total on the board.
(On the team changes) We've made two changes. Prince misses out, with Ashok Sharma coming into the side, while Shivam Dube is unavailable and Suryansh Shedge replaces him."

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): "[Are you happy to bowl first on this surface?] Yeah! You have to do it anyway. But yeah, had we won the toss, we were looking to bat first as well. But it wasn't because of the slowness of the surface; we know Harare Sports Club remains pretty good throughout. But we just wanted to bat first anyway.
[Mood in the dressing room and what are your words for the lads] All I said to them is that you are all doing well. What the team likes is slightly more runs from the captain. So, you guys are doing a good job. The onus is on me to try and rock up as well as a captain. Hopefully, God has given us another opportunity to rock up today, and hopefully, myself and the team put up a good batting and bowling performance.
[Team changes?] We were forced into making a change early this morning. Richard Ngarava, unfortunately, has got a slight niggle. So he misses out and Wellington Masakadza comes in."
