List of all records broken by Sooryavanshi vs GT [Source: AP]
There is no denying that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a special IPL batter, and he has been carrying the Rajasthan Royals batting lineup on his young shoulders. When the pressure is at its highest, Sooryavanshi rises to the occasion, and he has now done it twice- in the Eliminator, and in Qualifier 2.
Itโs almost like the opposition bowlers have no answer to his onslaught, and he has produced a fear factor in their minds. In the crucial Qualifier 2 match against the Gujarat Titans, Sooryavanshi became the first batter to attain the milestone of 500 runs scored inside the power play.
If that was not enough, the batter created yet another IPL record and left several legends behind to score the fastest 1000 runs in the tournament (in terms of balls faced).
Sooryavanshi leaves behind IPL greats to score fastest 1000 runs
Sooryavanshi was at his imperial best against the Titans as he single-handedly kept the team in the hunt to reach the IPL finals. He took the attack to the GT bowlers, and in the process, created history and became the undisputed king, leaving behind the greats of the game.

Sooryavanshi missed out on deserving IPL hundred
With wickets falling at one end, Sooryavanshi scored a 31-ball fifty against the Titans, which, interestingly, was his slowest in the IPL. The 15-year-old star curbed his attacking instincts, but after the fifty-run mark, he unleashed himself.
He quickly raced to 96 off 47 balls, and was one hit away from a knockout IPL century, but Kagiso Rabada had some other plans as the South African speedster took his all-important wicket as he missed out on a chance to slam a deserving ton.
