In no time, Jayden Lennox hogged a lot of limelight of late, courtesy of putting up a consistent show in the recently concluded ODI series between New Zealand and the West Indies.

Further, after picking up three wickets for 35 runs in nine overs on Tuesday during the fifth and final ODI between the two sides, which took place at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown.

Fittingly, Lennox won the Player of the Series award after the WI vs NZ ODIs. Riding on his incredible feat of claiming 14 wickets in five matches with an economy of 4.34, New Zealand won the five-match series with a scoreline of 3-2.

Lennox Tops The Chart; Leaves Vettori, Santner Behind

Among the spinners who have taken the most wickets in a single ODI bilateral series for men, Jayden Lennox etched his name in the record books. In fact, he went to the top of the table among the New Zealand spinners, going above and beyond Daniel Vettori and Mitchell Santner.

In the same list, Amit Mishra, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal are from India. In fact, Mishra has found himself twice, including the top-ranked position, by taking 18 ODI wickets in a single bilateral series.

Earlier, Lennox took five wickets in a single match in the same WI vs NZ ODI series to set a new record. He did it again on Tuesday, showing the world that the 31-year-old is here to stay despite being a late bloomer.
