India will resume their World Test Championship (WTC) campaign with a highly anticipated series against Sri Lanka. The first match of the two-Test series will be played at the Galle International Stadium from August 15 to 19, while the decider is scheduled at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo from August 23 to 27.

India's highest Test total in Sri Lanka is 707, a score they posted at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo on their 2010 tour of the Island Nation. It was the second Test of that tour and took place from July 26 to 30.  

After Sri Lanka declared their first innings on 642 runs for 4 wickets, India mounted 707 runs on the board, riding on Sachin Tendulkar's majestic double hundred. 

Although the match concluded in a draw, Tendulkar's innings and a flamboyant hundred from debutant Suresh Raina powered India to their highest team total in Sri Lanka. 

When and Where did India register their lowest all-out score in Sri Lanka?

India's lowest Test total in Sri Lanka is 112. India had a disastrous start to their Sri Lanka tour in 2015, losing the first match decisively at the Galle International Stadium. 

Although the team bounced back and registered its first series win in the country after 22 years, the disastrous batting collapse in Galle marked their worst-ever batting performance in Sri Lanka.
