Delhi Capitals flayed Rajasthan Royals bowlers in match number 43 of the IPL 2026 season. Chasing 226 for a win at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the visitors blazed past the Royals with five balls and seven wickets to spare.

Through the course of their six-hitting fest, the Delhi Capitals notched up a slew of records, including their highest successful run chase in history. Here is a look at all major records the Capitals franchise broke through their landmark win against the hosts.

Delhi Capitals pulled off their highest successful run chase in the history of the IPL, bettering their last year’s effort against the LSG. Back in IPL 2025, the Capitals pipped LSG by a wicket in Vizag in a chase of 210. Here is a look at three of Delhi Capitals’ most successful run chases in IPL matches.

Delhi Capitals also pulled off the second highest successful run chase in IPL matches held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Notably, even though the stadium is a home venue for the Rajasthan Royals franchise, the hosts have found themselves at the receiving end in each of the venue’s top three successful chases.

Delhi Capitals, under the leadership of Axar Patel, now has the second highest successful run chase to their name against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL history. SRH holds the all-time record against the Royals for pulling off a 229-run heist earlier this IPL 2026 season itself.

Delhi Capitals tonked its fastest-ever 150 in IPL matches against the Royals, racing to the landmark figure in just 13.1 overs in match 43 of the IPL 2026 season. Previously, the Capitals took 13.2 overs to chart 150 against the Royals back in the 2018 edition of the tournament.

Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals: As it happened

Rajasthan Royals batted first and mounted 225-6 in 20 overs, after Mitchell Starc broke through with a fiery new ball spell to claim sensational figures of 3-40 in the high-scoring innings. Captain Riyan Parag came up clutch for the Royals by whacking 90 runs off just 50 balls. Donovan Ferreira also blasted 47* from just 14 deliveries.

In response, Pathum Nissanka got the Delhi Capitals off to a flier with a cracking 33-ball 62. Senior opener KL Rahul also slapped an electrifying 40-ball 75 with five sixes, going past Virat Kohli for a huge record in the process.

Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma eventually blazed the Capitals past the hosts in just 19.1 overs.
