The Rajasthan Royals captain, Riyan Parag, won the toss and he elected to bat first as the Royals will aim to post a commanding total in front of the struggling DC batters. Amidst the crucial IPL 2026 game, the Delhi Capitals players were spotted wearing black armbands, and here is the reason why.

A couple of days ago (April 30), two Delhi Capitals fans, Abhav and Yagya Bhatia, lost their lives in a road accident. The brothers were key members of the ‘DC Toli’ official fan group, and in an official statement, the club mourned the loss of the dedicated supporters, described as vital to the team's community spirit.
On April 30, the Bhatia family was returning home after watching the DC Vs RCB IPL match, when a truck hit them from behind, and they suffered fatal injuries.
As a result, in a heartwarming gesture to remember the two brothers, DC is paying them tribute by wearing black armbands.

DC make plethora of changes vs RR
The Delhi Capitals suffered a crushing defeat against the RCB side in their last game, and the franchise pressed the panic button as they made a plethora of changes in the playing XI for the IPL match vs Rajasthan.
Sahil Parakh, who failed against RCB, and was dismissed for a duck, has a neck spasm, and the batter has been ruled out vs RR. Moreover, reliable finisher, David Miller has been dropped from the playing XI by skipper Axar Patel.
Mitch Starc is included for the first time in the playing XI, this season, and with the Aussie star back, Dushmantha Chameera is excluded from the main XI.
