Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has created history by becoming the first Indian bowler to take 150 wickets in men’s T20Is. He achieved the milestone during the IND vs NZ 4th T20I at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, October 30.
Arshdeep Singh is the ninth bowler overall and the third fast bowler to take 150 wickets in men’s T20Is. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga are the fastest to reach the milestone.

Arshdeep has also become the second Indian cricketer, among both men and women, to take 150 wickets in T20Is. Deepti Sharma was the first Indian to achieve this milestone, having taken 191 wickets in Women’s T20Is.

Arshdeep Singh became the fastest to complete 150 wickets in T20Is. He achieved this milestone in just 2,143 balls, breaking the previous record held by Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who took 2,532 balls to reach 150 T20I wickets.
Arshdeep also reached 150 T20I wickets in just 1,577 days after making his international debut. This is the quickest time taken by any bowler to reach the milestone, breaking Hasaranga’s previous record of 2,325 days.
