There were high expectations from him, but the southpaw just couldn’t replicate the form he had shown in bilaterals. However, come the IPL, Abhishek was back in his red-hot form, and KKR became his first victim. After getting dismissed cheaply in the IPL opener against RCB, Abhishek roared back amongst the run-getters and punished the KKR bowlers to attain a special six-hitting feat, a milestone which has only been achieved by one Indian opener before him.Abhishek Sharma attains T20 six-hitting milestone to join Rohit SharmaAbhishek is known for his power-packed batting at the top, and since 2024, his resurrection has been the talk of the town.
