After receiving a beating from DC, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take the field after an eight-day break, as they face Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 52 of the IPL 2026 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Saturday (May 9).

As the top order failed, RR Captain Riyan Parag took the responsibility and delivered a punch, scoring 90 runs despite being poorly out of form earlier. His efforts, alongside Donovan Ferreira's fiery 47, took the Royals to 225/6.

However, the bowlers, even the mighty Jofra Archer, had an off day. The bowling attack could scalp just three wickets in total. As a result, the target was chased down easily with five balls to spare.

Ahead of their next big game, we take a look at the best RR Playing XI vs GT.

RR Playing XI vs GT, IPL 2026, Match 52

Top Order: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel

Both Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to leave a mark against Delhi in the last outing. The gung-ho pair of JaiSoorya will look to redeem themselves and will be the most potent names in the RR Playing XI vs GT.

Dhruv Jurel has been the unsung hero of this RR batting attack. He scored a brilliant 42 and played a good part in the revival of the innings. He will likely play a crucial role in the RR Playing XI.

Middle Order & All-Rounders: Riyan Parag, Ravindra Jadeja, Donovan Ferreira, Shubham Dubey

Before the last innings, there were no doubts on Riyan Parag's captaincy but there's certainly talk about his batting form. However, he surely proved his critics wrong with a beautiful 90. He will be a key part of the RR Playing XI vs GT.

What Ravindra Jadeja and Donovan Ferreira offer to this RR Playing XI is unparalleled. The two experienced all-rounders are contributing heavily, which is why Rajasthan are looking like a bold unit this season. They will surely regain their places.

There will be more days when Shubham Dubey goes unnoticed, but on his day, he has the mettle to punish the best bowler in the world. Slotted in over Dasun Shanaka and Shimron Hetmyer, the upcoming batter will likely be a key part of the batting in the RR Playing XI.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Kwena Maphaka, Tushar Deshpande, Yash Punja

Undoubtedly, Jofra Archer has the been the most impressive fast-bowler in IPL 2026. The fearsome pacer had an off day against DC, and RR lost that game. After an eight-day break, Archer would have recharged his battery fully and will look to demolish GT batters.

Nandre Burger, who has been a flop in the last three games, could be replaced by another left-arm Proteas seamer, Kwena Maphaka, in the RR Playing XI vs GT.

Tushar Deshpande will regain his spot for his knack of picking wickets in death overs.

Ravi Bishnoi started off the season well, but has taken just two wickets in his last five outings. He could be replaced by Yash Punja in the RR Playing XI.
