Once touted as the tournament's favourites, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) have lost three in a row in the IPL 2026. In Match 64, the Riyan Parag-led side will take on the already-eliminated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Tuesday (May 19). 

In their previous match, RR were toppled by the Delhi Capitals. Although they posted 193/8 in 20 overs, the Royals were 15-20 runs short. 

Later, in the chase, the bowlers remained on the bay of defence, but could never cruise as the target was chased down with four balls remaining. 

Now, RR need to win both of their remaining matches to be in the quest for the playoffs. Ahead of the do-or-die clash, let us look at the best-suited RR Playing XI vs LSG. 

RR Playing XI vs LSG, IPL 2026, Match 64

Top Order: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi did what he does best against Delhi, scoring the most sixes by an Indian in an IPL season. However, his 21-ball 46 was the biggest positive for them. He will be a key part of the RR Playing XI vs LSG. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been failing to leave a mark in the last three outings. However, the stylish left-handed batter scored three incredible boundaries off Mitchell Starc. He will remain RR's biggest match-winner. 

Dhruv Jurel played a calm hand, scoring a half-century in the last game. He will most probably bat at three in the RR Playing XI vs LSG.

Middle Order & All-Rounders: Riyan Parag, Ravindra Jadeja/Ravi Singh, Donovan Ferreira, Dasun Shanaka

Riyan Parag, after missing against GT, returned to the RR Playing XI and left a mark instantly. The RR skipper smashed his second fifty of the season, but it came in a losing cause. Parag will look to lead from the front vs LSG. 

Ravindra Jadeja was missing in the last game due to a knee niggle. If his injury isn't too serious, the veteran all-rounder will get a place in the RR Playing XI vs LSG. If he doesn't, then Ravi Singh will continue. 

Despite getting dismissed on a golden duck, Donovan Ferreira remains a vital cog of the RR Playing XI vs LSG. The South African all-rounder has been providing finishing touches. 

Although Dasun Shanaka played as the Impact Player vs DC, he will likely be a part of the RR Playing XI. Whereas Shubham Dubey could play as the Impact Player against LSG.  

Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Kwena Maphaka, Brijesh Sharma, Yash Punja

Jofra Archer has been the true wicket-taker in the RR Playing XI this season. However, the English speedster has been failing to receive adequate support from the other end. 

Adam Milne got his first game of the season in the previous game, but he failed to leave a mark. Thus, Archer could get paired up with Kwena Maphaka in the RR Playing XI vs LSG. 

Brijesh Sharma, the third seamer for RR, is a must in the RR Playing XI. Although he has been going for runs, the right-arm pacer has been consistently picking up wickets.
