IPL 2024 champions and three-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will begin their journey for the ongoing season on Sunday against star-studded Mumbai Indians in Match 2 of IPL 2026 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
KKR’s head-to-head record against MI is very unimpressive, with 24 wins in favour of Hardik Pandya and his boys. Therefore, it could be a tough task for a massively injury-hit Knight Riders side, who have already got plenty of areas to fix in order to silence the critics under Ajinkya Rahane.
