The Hyderabad Kingsmen will face the Rawalpindiz in match 24 of PSL 2026 at the National Stadium, Karachi, on April 16 at 3 PM (IST) after two consecutive wins to get their tournament underway recently.

Having started their first-ever PSL campaign with four back-to-back losses, the Hyderabad Kingsmen have managed to leave the bottom of the points table and now sit at number 6 with 4 points to their name. In the last two matches, they have found their winning combination, defeating the Karachi Kings and the Islamabad United with successful chases.

On the other hand, after five matches played, the other new team, Rawalpindiz, are yet to open their points tally in PSL 2026 ahead of their collision with the Hyderabad Kingsmen.

As the two teams face off on Thursday afternoon, we take a look at the Hyderabad Kingsmen’s XI for the match.

Top Order: Maaz Sadaqat, Marnus Labuschagne (c), Saim Ayub

Captain Marnus Labuschagne changed his position from number 3 to opener in the middle of the campaign, which has worked out well for the Kingsmen. So far, he is their leading run-scorer with 171 runs at 123.02, followed by his partner, Maaz Sadaqat’s 146 runs at 180.24 as the more aggressive of the two.

Saim Ayub, who did not get off to a great start to PSL 2026, has scored 107 runs in 6 innings, while also picking 4 wickets in 6 innings. He will retain his spot at number 3 for the Kingsmen.

Middle Order and All Rounders: Usman Khan (wk), Kusal Perera, Glenn Maxwell, Irfan Khan Niazi, Hassan Khan

Wicketkeeper Usman Khan is another player who has fired in a couple of games but hasn’t made substantial and consistent contributions yet, scoring 76 runs at 146.15. Usman will be followed by the Sri Lankan left-hand batter, Kusal Perera, who has scored 78 runs at 134.48, including a 58 (35) in the competition.

Glenn Maxwell, who recently joined the squad, has already impacted a successful run-chase with 21* (9) in the last match. He will be their finisher with the ability to bowl off-spin. Irfan Khan Niazi, who has 97 runs in 5 innings at 134.72, will be slated in at number 7 for them.

To complete the playing XI will be Mohammad Ali, who has been the leader of the bowling attack with his right-arm pace. In PSL 2026, he has picked 6 wickets in 5 matches so far, including the best figures of 2/26 and is their bowler with the most wickets.
