Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is enjoying his much-needed family time in London, as he was recently spotted strolling on the streets alongside his baby boy, Akaay. The visuals, captured by a fan, instantly went viral on social media.

Kohli moved to London with his family after the birth of Akaay in 2024. He left the glamorous life in India to ensure his kids are raised without worrying about the camera lenses chasing them every step of the way.

Virat Kohli spends quality time with son Akaay

In a recent video circulated by fans on social media, Virat Kohli is seen having a walk with his kid, Akaay. The father-son duo stopped by to meet a couple of strangers before continuing with their walk.

Akaay held his father’s finger everywhere while Virat smiled at the bystanders before continuing to head to his destination.

The video went viral on social media instantly, with fans adoring the bond between Virat Kohli and Akaay. However, it is important to note that Anushka Sharma and the couple’s elder daughter, Vamika, were missing from this clip.

That being said, the video also raised questions about privacy. Virat moved to London to keep the limelight of fame away from his kids. However, with fans secretly recording him on the streets, the privacy issue is again back into focus.

When will Virat play again?

Virat Kohli, having retired from Tests and T20Is, will next be seen in the IPL 2026 season playing for defending champions RCB. The upcoming season is set to begin in late March, and Kohli will definitely take the field in red colours.

As for international cricket, Kohli last featured for India on January 18 in the final ODI against the New Zealand national cricket team in Indore, scoring a superb 124 despite ending on the losing side.

His international return is scheduled for June 14 in Dharamsala, when India face the Afghanistan national cricket team in the first ODI of a three-match series at home.

With 240 runs in three innings this year at an average of 80, his form leaves little doubt about selection. Moreover, since Virat Kohli has his sights set on the 2027 ODI World Cup in South Africa, this milestone will play a key role in his ultimate selection credentials.
