In a video circulating online, Rohit Sharma was seen casually peeking at ICC president Jay Shah’s phone while sitting next to him in the stands. The relaxed moment quickly caught the attention of fans, and the clip soon spread widely across different social media platforms.

Indian celebrities add glamour to the match
Along with cricket personalities, several Bollywood celebrities were also spotted at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Veteran actor Anil Kapoor attended the match and enjoyed the contest from the stands.
Notably, actor Ahaan Shetty, who is KL Rahul’s brother-in-law, also attended the match and was seen sitting close to him in the stands.

India deliver a powerful batting performance
On the field, the Indian team delivered a remarkable batting performance. Sanju Samson played a brilliant innings and continued his impressive form from the previous match against the West Indies. He scored a stunning 89 runs from just 42 balls and provided India with a strong start.
Several other players also made valuable contributions during the innings. Ishan Kishan added a quick 39 runs and helped maintain the scoring momentum. Shivam Dube contributed 43 runs and strengthened the middle order.
Tilak Varma played an explosive cameo of 21 runs from only seven balls. Hardik Pandya also added a powerful finishing touch with a rapid 27 runs from just 12 balls.
As a result of these combined efforts, India managed to post a massive total of 254 runs on the scoreboard.
England fight hard in the run chase
England began their run chase with early challenges during the powerplay overs. The team lost three wickets and struggled to settle in the opening stage. Even then, Jacob Bethell continued to rotate the strike and keep the scoreboard moving.
Notably, Jacob Bethell played a sensational innings and became the standout performer for England. The 22-year-old scored an impressive 105 runs from just 48 balls and kept his team in the contest until the final over of the match.
Despite the strong effort from England, the Indian bowlers stayed calm in the closing moments. They controlled the scoring rate in the final overs and eventually restricted England to 246 runs for seven wickets. India secured a stunning victory by seven runs and advanced to the T20 World Cup final.
India move closer to creating history
With this important victory, India moved one step closer to creating history in T20 cricket. The team will now face New Zealand in the T20 World Cup final scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on Sunday. A win in the final would make India the first team in the world to win the T20 World Cup three times.
