Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is buzzing at the moment as India have got off to a blistering start in their T20 World Cup semi-final clash against England. The fans turned up in thousands and cheered for the Blues at the top of their lungs, acting as the 12th man in India's quest for the 3rd title.
Besides the fans, several dignitaries such as Anil Kapoor, Rohit Sharm, KL Rahul and ICC chairman Jay Shah turned up at the iconic venue in Mumbai. Meanwhile, the fans were stunned to see former India captain MS Dhoni make a rare appearance to the ground.
MS Dhoni Reunites With Rohit Sharma
MS Dhoni loves to live a low-key life and does not make these kinds of appearances. Dhoni's wife Sakshi too accompanied him to the stadium. The highlight moment was that Rohit, who was sitting with Jay Shah in the stands, went in the VIP box and reunited with MS Dhoni.

Before the start of the match, there were reports that Thala would be in attendance at the Wankhede Stadium to cheer for team India. It was a special moment for India fans to see two former T20I stars reunite and share a hug.

MS Dhoni was in Chennai a day before training with the CSK management and staff preparing for IPL 2026. The upcoming edition is set to begin from March 26 or 28 and the five-time winners were undergoing a 10-day camp at Chepauk.

Thala took a day's break to reach Mumbai where Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar tied the knot with his girlfriend Saaniya Chandok in Mumbai. The event was attend by several dignitaries, which also includes India head coach Gautam Gambhir.
The wedding was held in the day, which allowed Dhoni to travel to Wankhede Stadium. The visit was worth it because the Men in Blue went all guns blazing against the Three Lions.
India Wreak Havoc Against England
In the crucial do-or-die game, the Men in Blue came prepared and they toyed with the visitors. Suryakumar Yadav and his men put 253/7 on the board, which is the highest-total in the history of T20 World Cup knockouts.
Sanju Samson set the tone as the newly-recruited CSK star amassed 89 (42) in Dhoni's presence. Shivam Dube, Tilak Varma, and Hardik Pandya played crucial cameos that helped the Men in Blue script history.
The entire stadium was buzzing and now England have to chase history to keep their dream of third T20 World Cup title alive.
