Bangladesh and Pakistan’s second Test match in Sylhet has been nothing short of a rollercoaster, with both teams battling fiercely to win the game. Pakistan needs just 121 runs on Day 5 with three wickets remaining, keeping the tension sky-high for fans everywhere.

Amid all the chaos on Day 4, one moment involving Mohammad Rizwan and Nahid Rana caught everyone’s attention and is now going viral. The unexpected interaction left fans talking and has added a surprising twist to the intense contest.

Nahid Rana Attempts Throw, Mohammad Rizwan Responds With Hug

As Day 4 of the second Test was nearing its end, Bangladesh was desperate for Rizwan’s wicket. Pakistan had already lost seven wickets while chasing 437, and Rizwan was standing strong at 71, keeping Pakistan’s hopes alive in a thrilling final session of the day.

The incident happened on the third ball of the 85th over. Nahid Rana bowled a straight back-off a length delivery, which Rizwan defended carefully, rolling the ball back to the bowler. Nahid Rana then attempted to throw the ball toward Rizwan in an aggressive display.

Mohammad Rizwan responded calmly, negotiating Nahid Rana’s aggression with maturity and experience. He replied back with a hugging gesture towards Nahid Rana, which won many hearts online.

Mohammad Rizwan and Nahid Rana were battling it out the whole day in what has been an intense Test match in Sylhet. As the last man standing between Bangladesh and victory, Rizwan’s calmness in that moment highlighted his composure under pressure.

Mohammad Rizwan Has a Hot Day in the Office Against Bangladesh

It has been a hot and cold day for Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, who ended Day 4 with 75 runs, keeping Pakistan alive in the Test match. Coming in at number 7, he faced some of the most tensed passage of play against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh tried to distract Rizwan multiple times, with Litton Das engaging in heated exchanges and attempts to unsettle him during crucial moments. Despite the pressure, Rizwan remained calm, focusing on the game while saving his wicket for Pakistan.

And at the end, Rizwan responded with a simple hugging gesture to what was another attempt from Bangladesh to get under Rizwan's skin at the end of Day 4. Rizwan kept his cool under pressure and guided Pakistan through the day.

BAN vs PAK 2nd Test Set for Thrilling Day 5

Pakistan, chasing 437 to draw the two-match Test series, resumed its second innings on Day 4. After early losses of openers Awais and Fazal, Babar Azam also got out for 47, while Shan Masood scored a fighting 71 before Taijul Islam’s tight spell.

Mohammad Rizwan then anchored a courageous 134-run partnership with Salman Agha, reaching his 14th Test half-century. By the end of Day 4, Pakistan were seven down, but Rizwan and Sajid Khan survived Bangladesh’s fiery final session, needing 121 runs to win on Day 5.
