Hasan Ali, the Pakistan veteran who is currently playing for the Karachi Kings, landed in a fresh new viral video with a special gesture that might get him into trouble.

During the Karachi Kings vs Hyderabad Kingsmen clash in PSL 2026 on April 11, Ali was found showing some vulgar gestures opposite to the playing field.

Hasan Ali took only 1 wicket in the PSL outing while bowling at an expensive economy rate of 10.50 from his four-over spell.

Besides being expensive, Ali’s fielding efforts were under scrutiny too, which might have led to the viral gesture he signalled after dismissing Kingsmen batter Usman Khan.

The vulgar gesture of Hasan Ali in PSL 2026

In the last ball of the 8th over of the Hyderabad Kingsmen innings, Hasan palmed a sitter of Usman Khan to show him out of the field. Kingsmen were chasing 189 runs of Karachi Kings in the match, and Khan’s wicket was a crucial one, given the fact that Kings lost two crucial wickets inside 10 overs.

After grabbing the ball at long on, Hasan ran towards the boundary and faced towards the crowd seating.

First, he signalled a shush with one finger on his lip, and then pointed out towards empty stadium to gesture a low jab punch in mid air aggressively before he walked off the boundary lines.

Why did Ali celebrate aggressively?

It was a curious celebration from Hasan Ali, though, the Pakistan veteran who last played an international match in 2025, interestingly, shared the optics in an empty stadium. Notably, Karachi Kings were playing at their home ground, but as per PSL directives, stadiums were empty.

The Pakistan Premier League is being played behind closed doors to fight the current energy expenditure in the country, and apparently, there was no crowd in the stands.

While Hasan ali could have showed the gesture due to a redemption of an earlier catch of Usman Khan he dropped in the 7.3 over, an ugly mockery towards the management could also be a possibility for such a nasty and aggressive act.

Nevertheless, the Karachi Kings vs Hyderabad Kingsmen clash saw the latter win the match by four wickets after the Kings put up a total of 188 on board courtesy of Saad Baig's 37-ball 53 and Moeen Ali's explosive 16-ball 44.

Kingsmen started decently on a slow note; however, it was later accelerated by Irfan Khan and Hassan Khan's 16-ball 53 that closed the chase easily.

Ali fails to defend 14 runs

Ironically, Hasan Ali was the one who bowled the penultimate over in the defence of the chase, which required 14 runs from two overs.

Ali was beaten badly, conceding 13 runs from the over as Hyderabad Kingsmen needed just one run in the final over bowled by Khushdil Shah.

Moreover, the Karachi Kings vs Hyderabad Kingsmen match saw Kings' bowlers suffering the misery. Amongst the bowling lineup, Ihsanullah was the most expensive with his 28-run two-over spell, while Abbas Afridi scalped two wickets successfully, being one of the most economical.

Nevertheless, this win helped Kingsmen bag their first victory of PSL 2026, as Karachi Kings lost their second match to cruise in the middle of the points table.
