Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a national sensation now. The young cricketer from Bihar has been recently named the vice-captain of East Zone in the Duleep Trophy, and the Rajasthan Royals wonder kid is ready for the responsibility. The confidence comes from his fearlessness as he outwits almost every world-class bowler.

In the Indian Premier League, the tournament which started it all for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, saw him bashing class bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Kagiso Rabada for boundaries and sixes and even dismissing Jofra Archer for a six in international cricket.

The Orange Cap Winner of IPL 2026 has been a light of hope for Rajasthan Royals since 2025, and his batting demonstrations underline why he is one of the most feared batters in the IPL only two years after his debut.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi reveals the bowler whom he fears the most

Now, ahead of the Duleep Trophy, in a recent conversation with Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav shared his thoughts about the bowler he fears the most with a bold four-word reply.

The discussion panel was set for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ravindra Jadeja, and both were asked a question in the rapid fire round. The host of the show asked which bowlers both of you fear the most while facing?

Ravindra Jadeja was prompt with his answer and immediately replied, “Jofra Archer in domestic and international cricket as well.” Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi replied, “Koi nahi hai abhi tak to (No one till now),” in the video shared by Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday on their social media handle.

The host later clarified whether he was talking about IPL or international cricket, but Sooryavanshi stuck to his answer, stating that no one has troubled him with their bowling till now.

Who is the real threat for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?

If taking international cricket into account, Sooryavanshi’s real fierce opponent is Jofra Archer. The England quick has managed to dismiss him two times from 13 deliveries, as Sooryavanshi only managed to get 18 runs from him at a strike rate of 138.46.

While Vaibhav is successful against pacers and spinners, it is Archer against whom he has struggled during the England tour.

How and where Vaibhav struggled the most in IPL?

In the IPL, Vaibhav has been dismissed 26 times against pacers and 13 times against spinners, with most of his dismissals coming in the form of being caught out. He gave away his wickets 30 times as he attempted to go big in the IPL, which again signifies his intent with the bat.

He was bowled out only 5 times in the IPL and was stumped and dismissed by lbw two times each. Even with the aggressive intent he brings onto the ground from ball one, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi have managed to score 1670 runs in his IPL career at an average of 42.82 and a strike rate of 216.32.
