Vaibhav Sooryvanshi has become the talk of the town in the UK amid speculations of his highly anticipated debut for India in T20Is. The batting prodigy, who attained unprecedented heights during the IPL 2026, is set to receive special treatment in Ireland, apart from getting a separate dressing room for being a minor.

Led by Shreyas Iyer, India will lock horns with Ireland in a two-match T20I series, starting on June 26 in Belfast.

With the series opener approaching, a Cricbuzz report reveals that Cricket Ireland will make special arrangements for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi amid speculation about his potential India debut in the shortest format.

What special arrangement will Cricket Ireland make for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?

The two T20Is of the India vs Ireland series will be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. Although it's picturesque, the cricket ground in Ireland is one of the smallest venues in terms of seating capacity, as it can barely accommodate 4200 spectators.

However, the Cricbuzz report states that Cricket Ireland will increase the seating capacity at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast, especially keeping the craze for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in mind.

The swashbuckling southpaw earned his maiden T20I call-up after securing the prestigious Orange Cap in the IPL 2026.

Also, considering the Indian team management generally gives opportunity to youngsters on such tours, it won't be surprising if one of Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson makes way for the destructive batter at the top order.

Why will Cricket Ireland increase Belfast ground's seating capacity for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?

According to the Cricbuzz report, Cricket Ireland will increase the seating capacity of the Civil Service Cricket Club from 4200 to 7000, allowing more spectators to witness Sooryavanshi's batting wizardry live from the stands.

The capacity of the ground in Belfast will be modified by adding temporary stands to the existing ones.

Considering Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has taken the cricket fraternity by storm at such a tender age, Cricket Ireland is expecting a significantly larger crowd than usual to watch the 15-year-old wonder kid play.

"I have heard that they are building temporary stands to increase the capacity from 4,200 to 7,000 so that more spectators can be accommodated. I hear many Indians from European countries will be here," MV Narasimha Rao, a former Indian and Irish cricketer, was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

Therefore, the temporary stands will be added to accommodate more people, which the Irish board is expecting to arrive at the venue for Sooryavanshi's highly anticipated India debut.

Will Sooryavanshi get separate dressing room in Ireland?

On Wednesday, June 24, the ECB confirmed that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, being a 15-year-old, would be provided with a separate changing room on India's tour of England.

As the ICC protocols prevent minors from using adult dressing rooms, Sooryavanshi will get a separate changing room during his stay in Ireland as well.

The left-handed batter recently starred in India-A's clinical triumph in the Tri-Nation A series in Sri Lanka.

He bagged the Player of the Match award by smashing a rapid 29-ball 94 in the all-important final and would be keen to weave his magic if he gets an opportunity in the India vs Ireland T20I series.
