England will begin their home summer with a high-octane five-match ODI series against Pakistan. The series will give both teams a golden opportunity to assess their grey areas and fine-tune their combination leading up to the 2027 World Cup in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The ODI series will be played from May 15 to 26 across five different English venues- Southampton, Manchester, Headingley, Chester-le-Street and Cardiff. According to the ECB schedule, England and Pakistan will cross swords in three day games and two day-night ODI matches.
After the conclusion of the Pakistan home series, the England men's team will take on Bangladesh in a one-off Test at Lord's from May 28 to June 1. The Ashes 2027 will follow the Bangladesh Test, while New Zealand will also travel to England for three T20Is and five ODIs.
On the other hand, the England women will host their Bangladesh counterparts for three T20Is and as many ODIs following the Women's Ashes. Northampton, Taunton, Worcester, Hove, Canterbury and Chelmsford have been chosen as the venues for the Bangladesh Women's tour of England 2027.
Thus, the England men's team will play 19 home matches, including six Tests, ten ODIs and three T20Is. Meanwhile, the Women's team will face Australia and Bangladesh across one Test, six ODIs and T20Is at home in 2027.
