Steve Smith has been in fine form in the Pakistan Super League so far. In PSL 2026, Smith’s batting ability has almost dismantled opposition attacks.

Recently, in the Multan Sultans vs Hyderabad Kingsmen 33rd clash of PSL 2026, he scored a 47-ball hundred to stun the Hyderabad Kingsmen. His remarkable knock included a 28-run over, where Hunain Shah was taken apart for boundaries and sixes.

In the 16th over, Steve Smith completed his century, which was also his maiden hundred in the Pakistan Super League. However, his innings was cut short by Hassan Khan, who dismissed him in the very next over.

On the fourth ball of the 17th over, Smith had to walk back to the pavilion, but his destructive 50-ball 106 helped Multan Sultans reach 185 runs in 16.4 overs.

Steve Smith was eventually dismissed by Hassan Khan. On the fourth delivery, Khan bowled a full ball outside off stump. Smith attempted to clear it towards long-off but failed to get the desired connection.

He ended up hitting it straight to the fielder at long-off, where Marnus Labuschagne, the skipper, completed a comfortable catch to send Smith back for 106 runs.

This wicket provided some respite to the Hyderabad Kingsmen, who had otherwise been dominated by the pair of Sahibzada Farhan and Smith, as the duo stitched together 132 runs from 75 deliveries.
