Sai Kishore has once again proven why he is one of the best active Indian spinners in the country. The Tamil Nadu cricketer just wrecked Uttarakhand in their Elite Group D match of the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season with a hat-trick and a 10-wicket haul.

The left-arm spinner knocked over Lakshya Raichandani, and removed Saurabh Rawat and Aditya Rawat for first-ball ducks to set up path of a comprehensive innings win for the Tamil Nadu cricket team.

Perfect 10 from Sai Kishore douses Uttarakhand in Ranji Trophy

Yet to make his Test debut for India, Tamil Nadu zealot Sai Kishore once again proved why he is among the best in the business by putting up a Ranji Trophy spectacle with the ball at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

While his four-wicket haul dismantled Uttarakhand for just 134 in the first innings of the match on Day 1, the 30-year-old scalped another six to bundle out the visitors for just 113, thus scripting a huge win by an innings and 66 runs for Tamil Nadu.

The cricketer picked up three of those wickets in successive deliveries to claim a sensational hat-trick right towards the end. He knocked over Lakshya Raichandani and dismissed Saurabh Rawat and Aditya Rawat for first-ball ducks to reduce Uttarakhand from 103-5 to 103-8 in the space of minutes.

In his following over, Sai Kishore also deceived Devendra Singh Bora for a six-ball duck to claim his fourth wicket in nine deliveries before spin mate Ajith Ram delivered the knockout blow with the wicket of Mayank Mishra on Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 Elite Group D match.

Interestingly, despite concluding the game with sizzling match haul of 10-74, it was Tamil Nadu’s number three batter Pradosh Ranjan Paul who bagged the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his first innings century.

Sai Kishore unleashes Ranji chaos after prolific County season

In his fighting bid to make Test debut for Team India, Sai Kishore has so far collected 14 wickets in four innings of the ongoing 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season for Tamil Nadu at an exceptional bowling average of 12.92.

Notably, he also harvested 22 wickets in the recently-concluded County Championship 2026 season in England for the Gloucestershire cricket club. Bowling on pace-friendly English surfaces, the cricketer weaved his spin magic and maintained an impressive average of 24.95.

Despite being one of the most prolific red-ball wicket-taking spinners in India, who also happens to be a T20 wizard for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL, Kishore is yet to find a place in the national squad since featuring in the 2023 Asian Games in China over three years ago.
