Anmol Kumar’s 184 Off 86 Balls Powers Bihar U19 To Victory Over Haryana U19

Haryana U19 won the toss and elected to bowl first on Friday in the Round 5 of India's U19 one-day tournament. Bihar U19 suffered an early setback, losing both openers to slump to 27/2 inside the powerplay.

Coming in at No. 3, Anmol Kumar completely changed the tempo of the innings. The right-hander attacked from early on, combining fearless stroke-play with excellent timing to bring Bihar back into control.

Anmol’s breathtaking 184 off just 86 balls featured 11 fours and 18 sixes at a remarkable strike-rate of 214. His ability to dominate both pace and spin helped Bihar post an imposing total of 325 runs.

Haryana U19 failed to complete the chase as Bihar secured a 19-run victory under the VJD method. The result was determined by the revised scoring method after a stoppage in play, rounding off a memorable outing for Anmol.

After Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Anmol Kumar Emerges As Bihar’s Next Batting Sensation

Anmol Kumar’s knock becomes even more remarkable when looking at Bihar’s final total. He departed at 267/5 with nearly 15 overs remaining, but Bihar managed only 58 more runs, highlighting how dominant his 184 off 86 balls was.

The 18 sixes in his innings showcased Anmol’s extraordinary ball-striking ability at a young age. He previously grabbed attention with an unbeaten double century in the 2024-25 Vijay Merchant Trophy, the premier U16 red-ball tournament in India.

Like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Anmol is emerging through Bihar’s age-group cricket system. His sensational 184 has brought him greater attention, and with Bihar continuing to produce exciting young talent, his development will be worth watching closely.
