CSK recently sparked excitement among fans by sharing a picture of Ravichandran Ashwin on its official Instagram account. The caption read, “SUPERFANS. Guess Who?."
The post quickly went viral, with supporters speculating about Ravichandran Ashwin's return to the franchise in a new role.
Fans will now eagerly await the official confirmation and look forward to seeing Ashwin in yellow once again, this time in a coaching role.

CSK to begin training camp for IPL 2026
The five-time IPL champions, as per reports, will begin their preparations from March 1. Players have started arriving in Chennai from across the country to take part in a 10-day training camp.
The camp will focus on fitness, team bonding, and preparing newly recruited players for the challenges of the season.
"Yes I can confirm that our camp will commence tomorrow and MS also will be part of it. We are expecting everyone to be here by Sunday," Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO of the franchise, told Cricbuzz on Saturday (February 28).

The IPL 2026 is expected to begin on March 28, giving the CSK nearly a month to fine-tune their combinations and strategies.
MS Dhoni joins CSK's camp
MS Dhoni has already joined the team’s training camp ahead of the upcoming IPL 2026 season. The former India captain arrived in Chennai on February 28 and was warmly welcomed by excited fans at the airport.
Many supporters gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite star as he began preparations from day one of the camp.
CSK also unveiled their new jersey on March 1 through a social media video. The video featured current captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, new recruit Sarfaraz Khan, and young talents like Ayush Mhatre and Urvil Patel.
The team management confirmed that Ruturaj Gaikwad will continue to lead the side this season. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson, who has joined CSK this year, will link up with the squad after the T20 World Cup.
CSK will be eager to bounce back after a disappointing IPL 2025 campaign, where they finished at the bottom of the table with just four wins in 14 matches. The team last lifted the IPL trophy in 2023 and will aim for a strong comeback in 2026.
