Chasing the target, Nitish Rana once again failed as he scored just 4 runs. Shashank Singh looked threatening as he slammed a 9-ball 29, but he was dismissed at the wrong time for the Men in Blue.
The Men in Blue were still in hunt for a win, as Rahul Tripathi, who couldn’t do much vs Pakistan, looked threatening as he played just 14 balls and blasted 56 runs, with a strike rate of 400.
However, he didn’t get much support from the other end as the Indian side came close, but lost the match by just 3 runs in a close-fought contest.
For England, Nathan Gilchrist was the star with the ball as he bagged 2 wickets, and gave away just 25 runs. Apart from him, Jack Carson also plucked a solitary wicket to help their team win the match.
