Former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim recently shared a post on social media announcing his second marriage to Nyla Raja. In his message, he said that he had gone through one of the hardest periods of his life. Therefore, he decided to remarry in order to find peace, stability, and calm in his future.

However, soon after his announcement, his ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq reacted strongly on social media. She shared a video related to Imad’s marriage to Nyla and demanded justice for her children.

At the same time, she made serious allegations against him. In her Instagram post, she called him a "murderer" and also accused him of cheating. She further claimed that he forced her to abort her child in Lahore. Moreover, she referred to his new wife as a "homewrecker."

In a post shared on her Instagram account, she accused former Pakistan all-rounder of murder and cheating, writing:

“In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me. @islamabadunitedpsl has given a chance to a murderer and a cheater. #boycottislamabadunited no cheater or murderer should get an escape.”

Additionally, she requested Islamabad United to remove him from their team. She urged the franchise to take action against Imad Wasim because of the accusations.

Sannia Ashfaq slams Imad Wasim's second wife 

Meanwhile, in another viral post, Sannia wrote, "Now everyone has seen the proof this homewrecker never once thought about my kids the cheater has finally been exposed and I want justice for my children and for everything we’ve been put through. #homewrcker #cheater." Through these posts, she made it clear that she wants justice for herself and her children.

It is important to note that Imad Wasim and Sannia Ashfaq were married for six years. They got married in August 2019 and have two children together. However, after six years, Imad announced their separation. At the time of the divorce, Sannia also shared a message saying, "Sometimes the home wrecker succeeds. Karma still keeps records."

Imad Wasim explains reasons for second marriage

Two months after announcing his divorce, Imad Wasim revealed that he had married Nyla. In his Instagram post, he explained his decision in detail. 

He wrote, “With the grace of Allah and the guidance of my parents, I have now married Nyla. This step was taken thoughtfully and with clear intention to build a life rooted in peace, stability, and mutual respect. Nyla has brought calm, dignity, and strength into my life, and I stand by this decision with complete conviction,” the cricketer wrote.

Reflecting on his past marriage, he said: “I went through one of the hardest chapters of my life after a marriage that did not work. Even so, that chapter gave me the greatest blessings of my life, my children. I love them beyond words, and that love will never change.

“I stayed longer than I should have, holding on to hope and trying to protect what mattered most to me. In doing so, I made decisions I regret. My delay and silence contributed to a situation where an innocent person was unfairly judged and subjected to criticism she did not deserve. I take full responsibility for that, and I carry that weight with sincerity and remorse,” he said.

Furthermore, he stressed that his children remain his top priority. He wrote, “Fatherhood is not defined only by provision, but by presence, love, and guidance. Despite giving my utmost, I am still unable to see them. My only wish is to be actively and meaningfully involved in their lives, for their well-being and their future.”

“I respectfully ask that my personal life be treated with dignity and privacy. Not everything needs to be debated publicly, and not every chapter needs commentary. Sometimes, the most meaningful way forward is with compassion, restraint, and respect for boundaries,” he added.

On the professional side, Imad was recently bought by Islamabad United during the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2026 auction) for 2.2 Crore PKR.
