The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several Pakistan players. Star performers like Shadab Khan, Usman Tariq, Abdullah Shafique are among those who received their NOCs to participate in leagues like The Hundred, LPL 2026, CPL 2026 and the Global Super League 2026 seasons.

Notably, ace spinner Abrar Ahmed also received his NOC to participate in the upcoming Men’s The Hundred 2026 season for an India-owned franchise, the Sunrisers Leeds. A few months ago, the Sunrisers franchise roped in Abrar, thus sparking much controversy among Indian fans owing to the prevailing geo-political tensions between the two countries.

PCB hand out NOCs to 16 Pakistan cricketers for GSL 2026

The PCB has granted NOCs to 21 different Pakistani cricketers to participate in various upcoming T20 competitions like The Hundred 2026, LPL 2026, CPL 2026 and Global Super League 2026 seasons. It is worth noting that 16 of those players will fly to Guyana for GSL 2026 season alone.

Senior all-rounder Shadab Khan is easily the most prominent name among them all, as the cricketer is slated to play GSL 2026 in the Caribbean for the ILT20-based Desert Vipers franchise. Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris is another player who will turn up at GSL 2026, albeit for the CPL-based Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise.

Other players set to participate in the GSL 2026 are Sufyan Moqim, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Naeem etc. Here is a look at all Pakistan players who received NOCs from the PCB to feature in the GSL 2026 season in Guyana later this month.

Shadab Khan, Sufyan Moqim, Abdullah Shafique, Farhan Yousaf, Shamyl Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, Mohammad Haris, Shahab Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Farooq, Ali Shabbir, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Basit, Khalil Ahmed and Usama Mir.

A majority of the aforementioned 16 Pakistani cricketers set to play GSL 2026 will be turning up for the PSL-based Lahore Qalandars franchise. The Qalandars, under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi, failed to reach the playoffs in PSL 2026 earlier this year.

Sahibzada Farhan lone Pakistani to receive NOC for two leagues

Star opener Sahibzada Farhan is the lone Pakistani cricketer to receive NOC from the PCB for two different leagues. The attacking top-order batter is slated to represent the Dambulla Sixers franchise in the LPL 2026 season in Sri Lanka. He is also reportedly linked with a CPL franchise for his maiden Caribbean T20 stint.

Maaz Sadaqat and Akif Javed are the only other players who received an NOC from the PCB to participate in CPL 2026 and LPL 2026 seasons respectively.

Abrar Ahmed set to play for India-owned Sunrisers Leeds

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed, who has made controversial anti-India social media posts in the past, is set to play for an India-owned Sunrisers Leeds franchise in ECB’s The Hundred 2026 season in England.

The cricketer was roped in by the franchise earlier this year, thus stoking much controversy among Indian fans and experts. It is worth noting that the Sunrisers Leeds is also the sister franchise of IPL’s very own, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Abrar Ahmed’s impending stint will also mark his first-ever appearance in The Hundred. Apart from Abrar, fellow Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq is the only other ‘Men in Green’ cricketer who received an NOC from the PCB for The Hundred 2026 season.

As per the schedule, The Hundred 2026 season will be staged in England between July 21 and August 16.
