Team India has embarked on a tricky away tour of Sri Lanka, and the two-match Test series could define their position in the WTC points table and their chances of qualifying for the final. Currently, India is fifth on the points tally, and they need to win seven of their remaining nine matches to qualify.
Before the Test series begins on August 15 in Galle , Team India will play a practice game against the Sri Lanka A team, starting on Friday, August 7.
