Mukul Choudhary emerged as the hero for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a thrilling match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, where the game went down to the final ball.
Notably, his outstanding performance helped LSG secure a dramatic three-wicket victory. At the same time, the match also saw a heated moment, as KKR batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi sledged Choudhary from behind the stumps.

At the same time, KKR bowlers Sunil Narine and Anukul Roy maintained tight control over the scoring rate. Eventually, Anukul Roy dismissed Badoni in the 15th over, and LSG were once again under pressure at 125 for 6.

After this incident, Mukul Choudhary delivered a remarkable innings under pressure. He scored an unbeaten 54 runs off just 27 balls and played with confidence. In addition, he smashed seven big sixes, which shifted the momentum towards LSG.
Finally, with 14 runs needed in the last over, Choudhary stayed calm and attacked Vaibhav Arora’s bowling. Consequently, LSG chased down the target on the final ball and secured a memorable win.
With this win, LSG have moved to the fifth position on the IPL points table, and they now have two wins from three matches along with a net run rate of -0.359.
