The appointment of former India cricketer and BCCI Chief Selector MSK Prasad as Team Director of Venice Livewires marks an important step in the franchise’s preparations for the upcoming Italia T10 League. Bringing together international cricketing experience, talent identification expertise and an understanding of team management, Prasad’s arrival adds an experienced cricketing voice to the franchise.
MSK Prasad’s journey in Indian cricket has spanned different roles, from representing the country on the international stage to taking responsibility for one of the most influential positions in Indian cricket administration. As Chairman of the BCCI Senior Selection Committee, he was part of the decision-making process that shaped the Indian men’s national team during a significant period in its cricketing journey.
A former wicketkeeper-batter, Prasad understands the demands of international cricket, the importance of identifying the right talent and the challenges involved in building a balanced team. His association with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), where he has worked as Strategic Consultant and Director of Talent Search and Academies, further strengthens his credentials in player scouting and development. Venice Livewires will operate under the leadership of Arvind Tadakamalla, Managing Director of Livewires Advertising Private Limited, alongside Executive Director TNR Mohit.
Mohit brings experience from the franchise and competitive cricket circuit. He has been both the owner and captain of Doiwala Kings, as well as the owner and captain of Nainital Tigers. His involvement in cricket, combined with his experience in franchise management, is expected to contribute to the team’s operational and sporting objectives.
The combination of Prasad’s cricketing expertise, Tadakamalla’s leadership and Mohit’s involvement in franchise cricket provides Venice Livewires with a structure aimed at balancing professional management with on-field ambitions.
