The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been seeing plenty of unwanted happenings lately in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), causing them a lot of trouble to protect their reputation in the global cricket landscape.
The Mohsin Naqvi-led board on Saturday said they have had enough, as they have no choice but to punish a player from Pakistan. And it was a player from Quetta Gladiators who had to pay the price.
PCB Punishes Jahandad Khan For Violating PSL Rules
Jahandad Khan, the 22-year-old all-rounder from Quetta Gladiators, is the latest victim who has been punished by the PCB. The PSL, in a media statement, confirmed that he had made a mistake and was thus fined 10 per cent of his match fees for Level 1 breach of the PSL rules and regulations.
“Jahandad was found to have violated the Article 2.5 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct, which pertains to “Using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a Match,” a PSL official statement read.
