Bangladesh will have Litton Das finally back in action. The 31-year-old, who missed out on playing the three-match T20I series against Australia earlier this month, will return to play cricket very soon.

The Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe Test is currently underway at Harare Sports Club, with Litton Das not being there. After that, they will have three ODIs and three T20Is. While the ODIs, scheduled for July 6, July 9 and July 11, will take place in Harare, the T20Is will be held at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on July 15, July 17 and July 19.

Litton Das To Be Back For 2nd ODI vs Zimbabwe

As reported by ESPN, Litton Das has been ruled out of the Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 1st ODI. However, he, in all likelihood, will return to playing cricket when the second ODI happens, on July 9.

In the same report, Bangladesh team manager Nafees Iqbal confirmed that Litton will be joining the Bangladesh squad in Zimbabwe on July 1. That means he will be with the squad ahead of the Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 1st ODI, although not available for selection after injury woes.

"Litton Das is suffering from an injury in his left calf muscle. It's a Grade I injury. It usually takes two to three weeks to recover from an injury like that. Two weeks have already passed. We are expecting him to recover by the end of the third week," Bangladesh team physio Bayzedul Islam Khan said in a statement, as quoted by ESPN.

"The possibility of him playing in the first ODI is almost nil, but he should be able to play in the second and third ODIs if he can meet all the parameters of our fitness test," he added.
