While IPL matches are always known to bring in on-field intensity, a rare and probably one of the biggest heated moments in the history of the tournament took place on May 7.
During the RCB vs LSG clash at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Krunal Pandya, RCB's spin-bowling all-rounder, faced off with LSG batter Nicholas Pooran.
The duo was seen exchanging a heated argument with each other while coming in close range, almost touching each other head-on.
Krunal Pandya Fights With Nicholas Pooran On-Field
The heated incident took place in the 10th over of the LSG vs RCB clash when Krunal Pandya came in to bowl against Arshin Kulkarni. Pandya got Kulkarni easily on the very next ball, and Nicholas Pooran came in to take guard against Pandya.
Pandya then welcomed Pooran with a sharp 118 kph bouncer. Pooran took a nifty single on the very next ball, and then the heated exchange between the two took place.
Krunal appeared to taunt Pooran by saying, “Show me the six-meter shot,” which immediately sparked a reaction from the batter.

The Angry Head-Lock
Pooran walked straight towards Krunal Pandya in anger, while the bowler also stepped forward, leading to a fiery exchange of words between the two players.

The situation intensified as Pooran got right up into Krunal’s face while still wearing his helmet. Amid the confrontation, Pooran challenged him by saying, “Come and bowl the next over.”
The tense situation saw the duo almost verbally jabbing each other, and it took the on-field players and umpires to ease off the tension between the two.
