Abhishek Sharma wreaks havoc in Amritsar

Abhishek Sharma stormed back into form after returning from a dismal tour of Zimbabwe and England. Opening the innings for the Amritsar Men’s Senior team, the left-handed batter blasted 233 runs in just 91 balls with 15 boundaries and 25 huge sixes in Amritsar.

Abhishek’s run fest catapulted the Amritsar Men’s Senior team to a monumental 533-8 in 50 overs against Tarn Taran Men’s Senior team in a Punjab State Inter-District Senior One Day Limited Overs 2026 match. 

MI London’s Danni Wyatt-Hodge ruled out of The Hundred Women 2026

MI London batter Danni Wyatt-Hodge has been ruled out of the remainder of The Hundred Women’s 2026 season. The attacking top-order batter recently suffered a calf injury during a match against the Southern Brave in Southampton on July 27.

The MI London franchise has now named young USA all-rounder Ella Claridge as the official replacement of the senior injured player.

Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of Sri Lanka Test series

Legendary Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the national squad for the upcoming two-match Test series in Sri Lanka later this month. The BCCI medical team does not want to rush Bumrah’s return, as the cricketer is still recovering from his left knee injury. 

The senior paceman recently played two ODI matches for Team India in England. The BCCI is yet to name Bumrah’s replacement for the Sri Lanka tour.

Harmanpreet Kaur to lead as India Women squad unveiled for Asia Cup 2026

The BCCI has unveiled a strong 15-player India Women squad for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Asia Cup. Harmanpreet Kaur will continue to lead the national side after returning from the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England.

The squad also features several star performers like vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh, Sree Charani, Renuka Thakur among others.

Dwaine Pretorius stars as Guyana Amazon Warriors win GSL 2026

The Guyana Amazon Warriors pipped San Francisco Unicorns by just six runs in the final to win the 2026 Global Super League title in Providence. After crashing to 29-8, cameos from Dwaine Pretorius and Matthew Forde lifted the Warriors to 85 all out in 18.5 overs.

In response, the Unicorns bundled out for just 79 in 18.3 overs courtesy of sizzling three-wicket hauls from Pretorius and ‘Player of the Tournament’ Mohammad Nabi.
