Things are getting from bad to worse for Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza in the ongoing India tour of Zimbabwe 2026. In the IND vs ZIM 2nd T20I, Raza entered an unwanted record list alongside India's Rohit Sharma and Pakistan's Babar Azam.
He had endured another disappointing outing with the bat and was dismissed without scoring a single run in the IND vs ZIM 2nd T20I.

It is important to mention that Sikandar Raza registered his sixth duck as captain in T20Is in the IND vs ZIM 2nd T20I.
As a result, he has now equalled Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam, who also have six ducks each while leading their respective teams in T20Is among Full Member nations.
Australia’s Aaron Finch holds the unwanted record with eight ducks as captain.

Raza Climbs Zimbabwe's List For Most T20I Ducks
Raza's dismissal in the second T20I against India also took his overall tally of ducks to 10, making him the player with the second-most ducks for Zimbabwe in the format.
Only Regis Chakabva has more, with 11 ducks. Fast bowlers Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava are next on the list with nine ducks each.

Why Sikandar Raza Will Be An Important Player For Zimbabwe In IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I?
It is important to note that, despite being in poor form, Sikandar Raza is an important player for Zimbabwe in the IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I. The star player on the ongoing tour has made just 4 runs in 2 innings at a strike rate of 40.00, and with the ball he has remained wicketless.
With the series already in India's favour 2-0, the Zimbabwe think tank will now want one of the most experienced players to perform so the team can avoid a complete whitewash.
Performing in the last T20I will also give Raza some much-needed confidence after a poor outing in the first two T20Is.
Talking about the overall series, India defeated Zimbabwe by 7 wickets. In the 2nd T20I, the Men in Blue won the match by 90 runs. This victory is India's second biggest win against Zimbabwe in T20Is by runs.
The dead rubber (3rd T20I) of the match will be played on July 26 at the Harare Sports Club.
