Mumbai Indians seemingly confirm Hardik Pandya’s retention

The Mumbai Indians franchise dropped a surprise social media post centred around captain and legendary all-rounder Hardik Pandya, amid talks of the cricketer’s trade rumours with other franchises like CSK and KKR.

Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue skittle Pakistan on Day 1

England fast bowlers Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue snared five wickets each to dismantle the entire Babar Azam-less Pakistan batting line-up for just 171 runs in 48.1 overs on Day 1 of their series-opening first Test match at Headingley in Leeds.

Robinson scripted a huge Test record by getting the wicket off the first ball of the match after he dismissed Pakistan opener Azan Awais for a first-ball duck.

Manav Suthar completes 10 to take India 1-0 up in series

Team India crushed Sri Lanka by 165 runs on the fifth day of their series-opening first Test match at the Galle International Stadium. Resuming the innings at 84-4, the hosts folded up for 206 runs in 77.4 overs.

Indian spinner Manav Suthar picked up six wickets in the innings, including four to mop up the Sri Lankan tail to bag figures of 6-55. Overall, he finished the match with exceptional figures of 10-131.

Harry Brook, Joe Root crowned best ICC Test batters

Harry Brook reclaimed the number one spot on the ICC Test rankings for men’s batters. The Englishmen dethroned Australian opener Travis Head after the latter underwent a poor outing against Bangladesh.

Brook is followed by national skipper and teammate Joe Root at number two. Australian run machine Steve Smith is ranked third on the latest charts after his fighting fifty in Darwin.
