Amid such chaos, another moment from the Lord's balcony has now grabbed fans' attention. Cameras captured head coach Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma engaged in what appeared to be an intense discussion during the third ODI against England.

The incident took place during India's chase of 388 in the third ODI at Lord's on July 19. Shortly after Rohit completed a magnificent century from 84 deliveries and scored 138 from 110 balls, the broadcast cameras focused on the Lord's balcony, where the Indian opener was seated alongside Gautam Gambhir.
The two were seen having a lengthy conversation, with Rohit wearing a serious expression while Gambhir continued explaining something.
As the visuals spread across social media, fans quickly began drawing their own conclusions regarding the nature of the discussion.

However, there is absolutely no confirmation that the conversation was an argument or related to any personal disagreement between Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir. Given the stage of the match, it could very well have been a strategic discussion regarding India's record chase, batting plans or other tactical matters.
Nevertheless, with the Indian dressing room already under scrutiny, even ordinary conversations are now being viewed through the lens of controversy.

Recent Gambhir rift rumours have already put India under the spotlight
This is not the first time Gautam Gambhir has found himself at the centre of such speculation during the England tour.
Earlier, reports claimed that Gambhir and Virat Kohli were barely interacting during training sessions, leading to widespread rumours of a fresh rift between the two.

According to Kotak, Kohli prefers minimal conversations while batting in the nets and usually discusses technical aspects after finishing his practice session.
Soon afterwards, cameras also captured Gambhir and Kohli sharing a cheerful conversation ahead of the ODI series decider at Lord's, effectively putting those rumours to rest.
Similarly, speculation surrounding Rohit Sharma's future also intensified recently before the BCCI clarified that reports claiming the veteran had been informed about missing the 2027 ODI World Cup were baseless.
BCCI keen to avoid more dressing-room speculation
Against this backdrop, the latest Lord's balcony clip is unlikely to please the BCCI. The Indian board has reportedly made it clear that it does not want internal conversations, selection discussions or team matters becoming subjects of constant media leaks and public speculation.
