Hardik Pandya to marry for the second time?
Amid this, a viral post on X claimed that Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya would marry Mahieka Sharma in a private ceremony in Udaipur on May 22.
The post gathered thousands of likes and reposts within hours, leading many fans to believe the wedding announcement was genuine. Also a few social media users claimed that Hardik was marrying Mahieka to get past BCCI's laws that restricts access of girlfriends travelling during important tournaments and series.
However, the truth behind the post tells a very different story. A closer look at the source revealed that the account responsible for the post is actually a parody profile that often shares misleading and engagement-driven content.
The same account has previously circulated fake stories involving several Indian cricketers, including Tilak Varma and Jasprit Bumrah. Importantly, there has been absolutely no official confirmation regarding any marriage plans involving Hardik Pandya and Mahieka Sharma.
No credible media organisation, family member, management representative, or official source has verified the claim. Hence, for now, the claim stands as fake.

After his divorce from ex-wife Natasa, Hardik Pandya started dating model and social media personality Mahieka Sharma in 2025. The couple confirmed their union on social media.
However, fans targeted Hardik for being too public too quickly with Mahieka. Moreover, the viral clips involving public displays of affection during India’s 2026 T20 World Cup celebrations triggered mixed reactions online, with some users calling it unnecessary attention-seeking.
