Sahiba Bali, a popular actress and social media personality, cleared the air on her relationship rumours with Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer. The link-up rumours began when Bali joined PBKS’ social media team last year.
Iyer was appointed the captain of PBKS last year after the franchise spent INR 26.75 crores on him during the IPL 2025 mega auction. The same year, Sahiba joined the Kings’ social media team as a creator. That marked the beginning of their link-up gossip.
Sahiba Bali comes clean on relationship with Shreyas Iyer
Recently, a Reddit user claimed that Sahiba Bali was dating PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer. The duo were spotted shooting content for the franchise's social media handles.
However, the work relationship was soon given the name of a personal and romantic relationship. But now, Bali has cleared the air just weeks ahead of the IPL 2026 season.
In a social media video, Sahiba Bali clarified that she is not dating Shreyas Iyer or any other cricketer or celebrity, for that matter. She added that she is single, and just because she is meeting someone doesn’t mean she shares a romantic angle with that person.
Notably, Sahiba was previously linked to Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar as well after the duo were spotted strolling around in Australia during the last Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
However, neither Sundar nor Sahiba ever acknowledged the relationship publicly.

Shreyas previously dated Trisha Kulkarni
As far as Iyer’s dating history goes, he was previously linked to Trisha Kulkarni, a software engineer with a background in artificial intelligence.
According to media reports, Trisha Kulkarni holds a degree in Computer Science and works in the AI domain. She is described as a fitness enthusiast who practices yoga regularly and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.
Rumours about Iyer and Kulkarni began circulating after they were reportedly spotted together at a Team India Diwali celebration in 2023. She was also seen at an IPL match during Iyer’s stint as captain of KKR.
However, it is important to note that neither Shreyas Iyer nor Trisha Kulkarni has publicly confirmed any relationship.
Shreyas has been struggling in the DY Patil tournament
Meanwhile, on the field, Iyer justified his snub from the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The Punjab Kings skipper endured another disappointing outing during BPCL’s clash against Reliance in Navi Mumbai on February 25.
Chasing a daunting 200, Iyer managed just 5 off 13 balls, following a golden duck in his previous match against Bank of Baroda. BPCL eventually slumped to a 65-run defeat.
With the IPL 2026 season approaching, Iyer’s form is becoming a concern, particularly for Punjab Kings, who will once again rely on him as captain.
The upcoming IPL edition will begin somewhere around late March due to state elections. Until then, Shreyas Iyer has the opportunity to work on his form and come back stronger.
