The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a strong 16-member England squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Team India at home. The England cricket team is set to host India for three ODIs, soon after the conclusion of the five-match T20I series.
Harry Brook will continue to lead the national side, and he will be accompanied by several senior pros like Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Joe Root among others. The ECB also added a fresh face into the squad as a potential debutant.
Jofra Archer returns, Brook to lead England against India
Express paceman Jofra Archer is set to make his return to England ODI squad through the upcoming three-match series against India. Previously, the speedster missed the 50-overs segment of England tour of Sri Lanka earlier this year.

Archer played the last of his 36 ODI matches for England way back in November last year against New Zealand in Wellington. He will be joining team captain Harry Brook, and fellow senior pros like Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Joe Root in the 16-member England squad.
Apart from Archer, fast bowlers Gus Atkinson and Saqib Mahmood will also be joining the England squad after missing the Sri Lanka tour.
Explosive batters like Jacob Bethell, Josh Tongue, Will Jacks, Ben Duckett, young spinner Rehan Ahmed also made a cut into the English setup. Here is a look at the entire England squad for the ODI series against India.

James Coles lone uncapped star in England squad
Sussex cricketer James Coles is the lone uncapped England star who made a cut into the 16-player squad for the series against India. Coles, aged 22, is a talented spin-bowling all-rounder. He has played 24 List A games in his career so far, and was recently named in England Lions squad for the tour of South Africa.
The youngster has aggregated 425 runs in 20 innings in his 50-overs career at an average of 26.56. With the ball, Coles has scalped 26 wickets at an average of 32.07.
England vs India ODI series schedule
Currently engaged in a five-match T20I tussle, soon India and hosts England will collide in a three-match ODI series. The series will be played between July 14 and July 19 in a couple of weeks. Here is a look at the complete schedule of the three ODI matches.
