The 41-year-old featured in 31 ODIs and nine T20I for South Africa, where he racked 1053 runs, featuring three centuries and four half-centuries. However, in 2015, due to limited opportunties back in the Rainbow nation, he signed up a Kolpak deal with Glamorgan. Upon his retirement, Ingram said, “Glamorgan has been my home for more than a decade, and it’s been one of the greatest privileges of my life to represent this club. I’ve loved every moment - the wins, the challenges, the friendships, and the incredible support from everyone at Sophia Gardens. "While it’s the right time for me to step away from playing, I’m excited to continue contributing to the Club in a new way and help develop the players who will carry Glamorgan forward.However, it is still undisclosed in what capacity Ingram would start in the Glamorgan backroom staff.
