The Axar Patel-led franchise, still hunting for its maiden IPL title, has set up a preparation camp from September 11 to September 14.In the latest events, Rohit Juglan of RevSportz reported that the Capitals have started their second phase of the Trial Camp Overview. The setup is based at Just Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, which also hosted phase 1 of the trials.Rishabh Pant Set To Attend Delhi Camp in Bengaluru; KL Rahul AwayThe report added that India’s star batter Rishabh Pant is also set to attend the ongoing camp. For the unversed, Pant became the first player ahead of IPL 2027 to be part of a trade deal. On June 23, 2026, Delhi Capitals confirmed that they have bought back Pant from LSG for a 15 crore fee, trading Kuldeep to LSG.Pant returns to the Capitals after three years and will join the camp for a day or two because he has to regain his lost mojo. Pant will work under Sourav Ganguly, who will be the Capitals’ head coach for IPL 2027.Rishabh Pant is going through a tough time in his IPL career. The southpaw went to LSG for a whopping 27 crores. However, the Indian star amassed just 581 runs in 26 innings.The development comes when KL Rahul is away from cricket and won't be part of the camp. Notably, the right-handed batter has been in the news for the past couple of days.
